We’re not your average beverage founders.

We’re a Moroccan-Peruvian duo (hi, we’re Maria & Roger 👋), passionate food adventurers, flavor chasers, and parents to some seriously spicy little humans.

Our life is loud, colorful, and deeply rooted in culture—and so is this drink.

After years in the marketing world, building brands for other people, we realized it was time to follow our true passion: food, flavor, and creating something that speaks from the soul.

On a recent trip to Peru, something clicked. We were sipping chicha morada (a traditional Peruvian drink made from purple corn), and that bold, earthy, sweet-sour sip stopped us in our tracks. It was ancient. It was powerful. It was pure magic.

And we thought—why isn’t everyone drinking this?

So we made a decision right there: We’re bringing this purple powerhouse to the U.S.—but make it fun, fresh, and packed with purpose.
